Medieval sounds in the heart of Minden:
To mark the 80th anniversary of the Minden Cathedral Building Society, the Leipzig-based medieval ensemble Nimmersêlich will perform a specially curated anniversary programme at Minden Cathedral.
For over 25 years, Nimmersêlich has been dedicated to reviving the ‘lost sounds’ of the Middle Ages: Music from original manuscripts dating from the 11th to the 13th centuries, brought to life once more with historical instruments, singing and a close connection to the performance venue. An evening blending spirituality, festivity and impressive sonority – right where this music unfolds its special magic – a musical highlight in the Cathedral Building Society’s anniversary year that is not to be missed.
